Usman SethiFull Stack Web Developer

3rd-semester student at the University of Peshawar, building on the MERN stack. Still early in the process — learning, exploring, and shipping real projects along the way.

Still early, and building anyway

Usman is a 3rd-semester student at the University of Peshawar, working through the MERN stack one real project at a time. The goal right now isn't to look finished — it's to keep shipping things that work, understand why they work, and get better at the parts that didn't.

Journey so far

Framed by semester, since that's the real unit of time here — not a polished résumé timeline.

  1. Getting started

    First lines of code

Started learning the fundamentals of the web — HTML, CSS, and JavaScript — before formally enrolling in a degree program.

  2. Semester 1–2

Enrolled at the University of Peshawar

Began coursework and started building small front-end projects alongside it, moving from static pages to interactive UI.

  3. Semester 2–3

    Picked up the MERN stack

Moved from front-end-only pages to full applications: React on the client, Node.js and Express on the server, MongoDB for data.

  4. Semester 3 — now

    Full stack, with TypeScript

Currently a 3rd-semester student, deepening TypeScript and Next.js, and using Git and GitHub as the default workflow for every project.

  5. Exploring next

    Cloud and infrastructure

Starting to explore AWS and how full-stack applications are actually deployed, monitored, and run in production.
